Robert BlakeleyRobert Blakeley

            Rob is a Lake County native with over 25 years of experience in the Insurance Industry. He started his insurance career with MetLife’s Ocala office offering Life, Health and Investment products. He left MetLife to pursue an ownership opportunity as an Allstate Exclusive Agency with an office located in Summerfield due to the growth of The Villages. In 2002 He opened his first truly Independent Insurance Agency in Leesburg, allowing him to focus his energies on the needs of his clients instead of the desires of a single company. Now with a second office in Mt. Dora, Rob and his staff can offer comprehensive insurance advice and products to all of Central Florida and beyond. Rob and his wife Leigh have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. He enjoys attending college football games in The Swamp (Go Gators), spending time at the beach with his family and pursuing his newest hobby, flying general aviation airplanes.

Laraine McDonaldLaraine McDonald
     (Agent - Leesburg)

            Laraine has worked for the Robert Blakeley Insurance Agency since 2006. She too is a Florida native and is originally from Jacksonville where she worked for Prudential for 35 years. After retiring from the operations side of the insurance business, Laraine obtained her Property and Casualty Insurance License in 2002. In 2006 she moved to Leesburg and in 2015 to the Villages where she resides with her Rhodesian Ridgeback Jake. Laraine has 2 children and 1 grandchild. She enjoys golf, yoga, gardening and spending time with friends in The Villages.

Dawn VaughnDawn Vaughn
      (Customer Service – Leesburg)

            Dawn has worked for the Robert Blakeley Insurance Agency since 2012. She recently obtained her license as a Customer Service Representative. Dawn, her husband Bill and their 2 children moved to Florida in 2006 from Reading, Michigan where she raised Quarter Horses, Hereford cows and AKC registered Boxers. Dawn loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with her family, including her 3 grandchildren, especially if it involves hunting or riding her Harley. Dawn doesn't seem to miss those Michigan winters much.

Carrie TuckerCarrie Tucker
      (Customer Service – Leesburg)

            Carrie joined the Robert Blakeley Insurance Agency in 2013. She worked for Terminix for 15 years before retiring and then un-retiring to join the agency. She was born and raised in Maryland but moved to Florida in 1999. She and her husband of 46 years, Frank, reside in Leesburg and have raised 4 children together. She enjoys pickleball, working in the garden and is a on a bowling league to boot.

Beverly DonaldsonBeverly Donaldson
      (Agent – Leesburg)

            Beverly has been in the insurance industry for more than 15 years serving clients for various agencies, most recently at Wells Fargo insurance of Tampa where she worked for eight years as an account representative. She holds licenses in property and casualty and health and life insurance. She joined Robert Blakeley Insurance Agency in April 2015 and lives in Clermont with her husband Grant after moving from Tampa to be near their two grandchildren. Beverly enjoys walking the beach on Lake Minneola and building dollhouses, which she donates to notable charities. She moved from Michigan 21 years ago and has no intention of going back..

Tina GoodwinTina Goodwin
      (Agent – Mount Dora)

            Tina is a native Floridian with over 20 years of experience in the overall real estate industry. Her career has included the real estate, title, mortgage and insurance industries giving a well rounded overlook on the entire process. She has worked for the Robert Blakeley Insurance Agency since 2015. She enjoys music and running 5Ks and is a marathon hopeful.

Rienie NewlanMaureen “Rienie” Newlan
      (Agent – Leesburg)

            Rienie has worked for the Robert Blakeley Insurance Agency since September 2016. She came to Leesburg from Tallahassee, but home will always be Key West, Florida. Rienie has been an insurance agent since 1988, working in Key West until 2000. After Hurricane Georges hit the keys in 1998, totaling the office she worked in and over resulting in 1300 of her clients having wind and flood claims, Rienie decided she wanted a change of scenery. After the claims were settled and after a few visits to Tallahassee to visit friends, she relocated there in 2000. The summer of 2016 she decided to move with her cat Max, to Central FL to be closer to long-time friends and family. Rienie is a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoys kayaking, crafting, sewing and painting, and Sundays watching NASCAR and Steelers’ football.
